LEO is a violent family drama that is technically strong, yet settles for something less than brilliance. Touted as a tribute to David Cronenberg's History of Violence, this multi-starrer had an interesting world building with lots of scope to score big in all department. Rather, it settled for something ordinary, making Lokesh fall prey to his own standards.

With brilliant performances, an outstanding production design and a brilliant background score, Joyland delivers a strong message about our flawed social construct, that is hard-hitting and extremely relevant.
Based on the life of Robert Oppenheimer, Director Christopher Nolan tried to bring two (usually) contrasting aspects together - docudrama and (cinematic) visual experience. With some brilliant performances from the stellar cast, Oppenheimer is probably one of the most important films for Nolan, if not as engaging as his previous works.

With a plethora of eminent artists in its bank, Modern Love Chennai is probably the best Tamil web series out there right now, purely because of the spectrum of love it (un)covers.
With the backdrop of the 2018 Kerala floods, Jude Anthany Joseph directed this survival thriller with a highly moving narrative that encompasses several emotions. The film, backed up by a humongous cast, is engaging and intense, providing a great aftertaste.
